The core principles in our approach to the work we do are fundamental and constant whilst the methods we use are tailored to suit specific requirements and projects. There are infinite ways to make working life the way you want it to be but it starts and ends with You.

Imagine what would happen if you or your employees or colleagues had a mindset where the dominant beliefs were:

What would be achieved? What could be achieved if you or those you work with thought and behaved differently? What could the results be?
And it is possible to think differently and expand or adjust the way we see things but it requires a process to create this change. It requires something more substantial than merely saying the words. It doesn’t quite happen overnight but it can happen with commitment and hard work in a coaching environment.
Achieving success in work, or indeed in any area of your life, sometimes means the willingness to do things differently, to change what you are doing and that can mean changing the way you are thinking.
By change we mean personal development; working on developing yourself and bringing out the potential inside by developing and making best use of your resources and abilities. Flexibility and Individuality
Above all we are Flexible – Different clients need different things and we do not expect one solution to suit everyone. We have a variety of service programmes (see Services page) that are designed to address a variety of issues using a range of methods. We enjoy the process of tailoring the methods we use, as well as developing new ones, to meet the requirements of the client.
Time is a valuable Resource
We want to achieve results in the most efficient way possible. If what you want can be achieved in weeks or months rather than years then that is what we will do. Our expectation is that we can make a difference quickly and how quickly will be determined by the individual requirements, the size of the organisation or the scale of the project and, most importantly, how willing the individuals involved are to commit to the process and put in the work to get the results. We will not tiptoe around issues or challenges but confront them directly and respectfully with the aim of getting the results you want.
BUT - we are not into quick fixes. We are commited to working towards long term and lasting solutions and there are stages to go through in the process of change and development.
Transparency In Our Coaching
We aim to make our methods and techniques clear and understood. No secrets. We aim to leave you with all the tools and techniques needed to maintain and to continue building on the results achieved whilst we work together. The skills that you will learn are skills for life. We do not expect to have to work with you until the end of time because you will be equipped with new personal resources that will change how you work now and in the future.

What makes Q Coaching Different?
Experience
We have over 14 years of experience in the Health and Fitness Industry including management, executive management, training and development roles as well as experience in business set up and development. We don’t work with theory but with hands on experience of this environment and all of this experience and associated skills are used to understand a client’s needs and design a development programme to meet exactly the desired outcomes.
It is not the job of a coach to know your business inside out. It is the job of a coach to be an outstanding coach. It is the individuals within that business that we are interested in since it is they who ultimately make the business what it is. The coaching process and approach to professional development along with the tools and techniques used and taught literally raises your game, your performance and the results you are able to achieve.
However, our background, our knowledge of people management and development and experience in the field of personal and professional development enables us to quickly build credibility and rapport with everyone we work with, whatever their level.
At Q Coaching We Walk the Talk
There is nothing that we do with our clients that we haven’t applied to ourselves and the reason we can describe the results that coaching produces is because we have experienced them for ourselves in our own lives and our own business ventures. We work with coaches and mentors to continually develop our own skills, our knowledge and our understanding and everything we learn we pass on to our clients so that they can achieve results.
Cutting Edge and Expertise
It has been said that if you were to read on your subject or profession for 30 minutes a day you could be at the cutting edge of that profession in 7 years. If you read for 1 hour a day it would take 4 years, 2 hours a day 2 and a half years and if you read for 3 hours a day it could take just under 2 years to be at the cutting edge of your profession. Guess which option is applied at Q Coaching?
Q Coaching is a relatively young company but age isn’t the only determinant of a successful or valuable company just as length of service doesn’t always equal knowledge and skills. We are passionate about what we do and make it our business to be the best we can be in our field.
